Reflect on yourself -- Connect with others -- Affect the world

Students from different schools come together to explore five key concepts:
  • Identity
  • Diversity
  • Culture
  • Prejudice & Discrimination
  • Conflict Resolution

{Students investigate ways to advocate for people, animals, and the environment.}

During their week at the program, students reflect on their identity and experiences, connect with others from various backgrounds and cultures, and find the courage to positively affect our world.

{Students from diverse backgrounds learn to resolve conflicts peacefully while making new friends.}

The Balboa Park Program has partnerships with 27 museums, institutions, and organizations, making the most of the park's unique historical, biological, and cultural resources.
